I call this one "The Jesus Cat" who can groom on water. My wife just pointed out to me that, because the lake and and ground were taken at similar angles, the cat laying on water looks somewhat believable. I hadn't caught that at first. Good job.
aaah! on first glace at this is looked like the cat had jumped out of somewhere and was heading for the water!! hah well im glad i read the caption, and i agree it looks so smooth and realistic... and even peaceful! nice job!

Where is the plexiglass under the water holding the kitty up? ;) ;) ~ great idea Jon & it looks real(!) ~ I have to say my cats 'think' they can walk on water, they have a bit of a complex...
p.s. I just thought of this Jon - how about inversing (or flipping?) the picture of your cat and put a slight rippling effect through it, so it looks like it's reflection coming off the water while it's laying down?
When I first looked I though woah that cat jumped in...then I realized he was napping on the water just like you would expect an self-respecting cat to be! Excellent job angling it so it looks so real!
