Monochrome color

I caught this reflection off my pool which gives everything the bluish/greenish tint. I need to clean my pool :).

What a neat picture. I would have never guessed it was a reflection in a pool. The blue is awesome.

Great idea to use a reflection in water to get the monochrome shot - very cool - plus if you think about it - it's a lighting shot too since light is needed in order to create a reflection. :) 2 for 1 :)!

I also would have never guessed this was a reflection in a pool. This is such an intersting picture, very creative and the color scheme was perfect for this week!

See what not cleaning your pool has done for you. You are on to something here. Nice shot, I wish I hgad thought of that (not that I own a pool).

Everyone pretty much said this, but what a great reflections shot! I love this particular monochrome color scheme (i'm a bit biased toward the cooler colors though)

Very cool colors in your pool shot. :) I have just one question though. Did you rotate the picture? Usually when I take a photo of a landscape reflection on the water, the reflection is upside down.

Yeah I did rotate the image, it was upside down like you said it should have been.

Jon,

Nice work on the monochrome photo. That fact that you rotated the photo, like Alina mentioned, is probably why it deceived all of us into not realizing it was a reflection. Oh, and by the way, you pool is definitely way cleaner than mine. I still haven't closed mine and it could have been done months ago since it has been so miserable.

I don't think I would have guessed it was a pool either - more like the caribbean....
